JOIN US THIS FALL FOR LUKE IN THE LAND
We’re excited to journey through Luke in the Land together this fall semester! Through video teachings, discussion, and personal study, we’ll walk through the places where Jesus lived, taught, ministered, and transformed lives, gaining a deeper understanding of Scripture and the heart of our Savior.
Whether you’re new to bible study - or have been studying God’s Word for years - this will be a meaningful opportunity to grow your faith, connect with other women, and deepen your understanding of the Gospel of Luke.
Study Details:
Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm OR Wednesdays from 10-11:30am - meeting every other week
Our final session will be a special holiday potluck gathering as one large group (Tuesday & Wednesday combined!). Tentatively scheduled for Sunday, November 17th (date to be confirmed).

Mexico Mission Trip
Our next Mexico Missions Trip is coming up October 4–10, 2026! The average cost of the trip is around $1,400 per person. While we will be helping build a home for a family in need, It’s about serving others, sharing the love of Jesus, and allowing God to work in your own heart. Many who go say the experience changes their life in ways they never expected. If you are interested in joining the trip, learning more, or supporting the mission even if you cannot attend, feel free to reach out to Pastor Seth at Seth@hopereno.church.

We share a meal together, dive into God’s Word, play fun games, and discover how faith connects to everyday life.
Our goal is to create a place where every child feels known, loved, and encouraged as their faith takes root and grows into something they can carry with them wherever they go.

Women of Hope Worship & Prayer Night
Ladies, come spend a cozy fall evening together around the fire pits. This is a chance to step away from the busyness, connect with other women, and simply be together in God’s presence through worship and prayer.
Whether you come with friends or on your own, you’ll be welcomed and have a place here. Bring a blanket, we’ll provide snacks and warm drinks, and join us for a meaningful night of connection, encouragement, worship, and prayer.

Boxes of Hope
As we approach the Thanksgiving season, Hope Community Church is honored to continue our Boxes of Hope outreach. Through this effort, we will provide families in need with a complete Thanksgiving meal, enabling them to celebrate the holiday with dignity and joy.
We’re collecting Thanksgiving food donations to help provide meals for families in our community who could use a little extra help this season.
Grab a few extra items on your next grocery trip and bring them to Hope. Every donation helps us love our neighbors well.

Christmas Stars
Shine Bright with Christmas Stars! 🎁✨ Get ready to light up Christmas for kids in need!
This year, our lobby will have two Christmas trees one with “Something they'll love” Star and one with “Something they'll use” star.
Each star represents a $25 gift for a child in our community. Grab a star (or two!), buy and wrap the gifts, and bring them back with the tags by December 6th.

Women's Retreat
Mark your calendars! Our next Women of Hope Spring Retreat is coming, and we can’t wait to gather again for a meaningful time of connection, encouragement, and growing deeper in our faith.
Whether you joined us this past year or are considering coming for the first time, this retreat is a special space to step away from the everyday, be refreshed, and draw near to the Lord alongside other women.

20 year celebration!
We're celebrating 20 Years of God's faithfulness, life-change, and transformation at Hope Community. This Sunday (9/27) will be a special time of reflection on the journey that we've been on as a church. Regardless of whether your memories at Hope go back to the beginning or just a short time ago, there is a lot to celebrate as a church. This special day will be marked with treats before and after the 9:00 and 10:45 services, and you won't want to miss it.

Widows Ministry
You don’t have to walk this journey alone. Our Widows Ministry is a place for women who have lost their husbands to find friendship, encouragement, and a community of women who understand.
Together, we share life, pray for one another, encourage one another through God’s Word, and remind each other of God’s faithfulness through every season.
Join us Wednesday, September 23 at 10:00 AM in the Hope foyer for a time of fellowship, connection, and encouragement. We’d love to have you with us!

Conversations of Hope
This event is an all church call to love the prostitute, the leper, the homeless. To be loved is to be seen; we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, so let us use our hands to serve those who need it most!
Join us in serving downtown at the Reno Gospel Mission soup kitchen! This is an all-church call to love the unloved; children are allowed to participate only with a parent/guardian available. There are two shifts, one in the morning (7am) and the other in the evening (5pm).

We’re excited to journey through Luke in the Land together this fall semester! Through video teachings, discussion, and personal study, we’ll walk through the places where Jesus lived, taught, ministered, and transformed lives, gaining a deeper understanding of Scripture and the heart of our Savior.
Whether you’re new to bible study - or have been studying God’s Word for years - this will be a meaningful opportunity to grow your faith, connect with other women, and deepen your understanding of the Gospel of Luke.

Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm OR Wednesdays from 10-11:30am - meeting every other week
Our final session will be a special holiday potluck gathering as one large group (Tuesday & Wednesday combined!). Tentatively scheduled for Sunday, November 22nd (date to be confirmed).

Women of Hope - Summer Walks
All ladies are welcome to join us for a casual walk around the Damonte wetlands, approximately 2 miles. Walk the entire loop, or walk as far as you can. Either way, we pray you'll enjoy God's beauty, sunshine, and friendly company!
We will meet at 8am at the Damone Ranch Park - 1950 Steamboat Pkwy, Reno, NV 89521 - and walk from there.
Bring water, a hat, and comfy shoes.
This is a time for connection, prayer, meeting new friends, and fellowship with others! We hope to see you there!

Tahoe Baptism
"Our annual Lake Tahoe Baptism is Sunday, September 6th, at Sand Harbor. If you are interested in taking that next step in your faith journey with Christ, sign up by emailing Nathan Hartley at nathan@hopereno.chuch
The parking lot at Sand Harbor opens up at 5:00, and the Baptism service will begin at 6:00 pm. We have the Ramada Group area reserved near the boat launch (North of the Restaurant). Family and friends are invited to celebrate!
We will enjoy a BBQ potluck style afterward. We'll provide the meats and drinks; please bring a side or a dessert to share.
Please carpool due to limited parking spaces and have cash for the parking fee ($10 for Nevada plates, $15 for non-Nevada plates).
Please bring a side dish or dessert to share (in disposable containers, or be sure to collect your Tupperware after) and Hope will provide the hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks.
